Time Management

One of the biggest obstacles in the ADHD world is "executive functioning." This includes planning, organizing priorities, and implementing plans.

Replacing ineffective habits with new routines can make the task of managing chaos much simpler. A functional routine will guide your day, allowing you to focus on the task at hand knowing that there will be time for others things later.

Organizational

Organizational skills don't come naturally to everyone. Many of us need to tame the clutter in order to get things done. The problem is that sometimes the clutter is in our environment and other times it's in our heads. Establishing organizational skills that fit into your time management plan will increase task completion and enhance confidence that your priorities have been addressed.

Making it Happen

This is where the rubber meets the road! For many, this is the hardest part of executive functioning. Planning and preparing can be exciting and adventurous. Those activities can fuel our drive. But follow-through is a different story. It's serious, reality, mundane. Building in rewards and incentives keeps us motivated to bring it all together and make it happen.
